The Anti-Ragging Cell at MVJ Degree College s committed to maintaining a ragging-free campus and ensuring the safety and dignity of every student. The cell strictly enforces the provisions of the UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions. Awareness campaigns, orientation programs, and counselling sessions are regularly conducted to educate students about the harmful effects of ragging. The cell actively monitors student interactions and takes immediate disciplinary action against any violation, thereby fostering a culture of respect, safety, and harmony.
The Internal Complaints Committee has been formed in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee addresses complaints related to sexual harassment, ensuring confidentiality, sensitivity, and fairness throughout the process. It organizes workshops, seminars, and awareness programs to educate students and staff about gender sensitivity, workplace ethics, and respectful conduct. The SC/ST Committee is constituted in accordance with UGC and Government guidelines to safeguard the rights and interests of students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. It also provides support to address any academic or non-academic challenges faced by SC/ST students.
