Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy

This policy will form part of regulations governing admissions of the College and lays down the procedure for cancellation of admission/withdrawal of admission and for refund of fee paid.

The policy is framed based on UGC Notification dated, October 2018 under UGC Regulations, 2012 and Hon’ble Supreme Court Judgment in the case of Islamic Academy of Education vs. State of Karnataka (2003) 6 SCC 697.

The withdrawal policy of 2023-24 is framed based on the UGC Circular (D.O. No. F.2-71/2022 (CPP- 11) dated 03.07.2023.

The following table is to be referred for refund of fees remitted by the student:

IMPORTANT NOTE

  1. Application Fee paid by the student is not refundable.
  2. Any University Fees (including Eligibility Fees) paid by the student, is refundable if not remitted to the University.
  3. Any student admitted to any of the courses offered by the College, may only with valid reasons, apply for cancellation of his/her admission.
  4. The student / parent shall apply in writing duly signed by the student and parent along with a copy of photo identification, original fee receipt and complete no due certificate. Applications for cancellation or refund should be submitted to the Head of Admission and Principal for 1″ year and higher semester students respectively.
  5. The date of receipt of cancellation or withdrawal of application by the College will be the basis for refund calculations.
  6. Admission to all courses will close prior to the date of commencement of classes/ day of orientation induction programme. One day prior to first day of commencement of classes (first day of attendance) will be considered to be the “Formally notified last date of admission” for the respective academic year.
  7. All Refund will be made only to the bank account of the student/ parent as per the bank account details furnished, within 15 working days from the date of approval of the cancellation/withdrawal.
  8. This policy is not applicable in case the cancellation or withdrawal of application is made by year back students and students who have discontinued temporarily.
  9. Withdrawal from the course or cancellation of admission at any time AFTER his/her first year of admission.
